Expertise

What I bring to a team

I work at the intersection of business, data and technology. I translate complex business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, working with stakeholders, developers and data teams.

Data and reporting

  • SQL for analysis, data quality and consistent reporting
  • BI dashboards (Qlik, Spotfire) and Cognos regulatory reporting models
  • KPIs, data sources and business rules, defined and documented
  • Regulatory and risk reporting

Agile delivery

  • User stories, acceptance criteria and backlog prioritisation
  • Sprint planning, refinement and test scenario design
  • Functional testing and UAT before release
  • Jira, Azure DevOps and Confluence

Process and tooling

  • Workflow design and automation (ClickUp, Pipedrive, Zapier)
  • Communication with stakeholders in international teams
  • Process documentation and onboarding material
  • Checking implemented designs against Figma specifications
  • Banking and risk
  • Insurance
  • Automotive
  • Consumer electronics
  • Telecoms
  • Marketing and e-commerce

Approach

How I work

  1. Understand

I learn your domain, systems and constraints, and I talk to the people who use them.

  2. Define

I turn what I learn into clear, testable requirements and options your team can decide on.

  3. Deliver

I stay close to the team during delivery: answering questions, handling change and checking the result against the need.

One consultant, no hand-offs: you deal with the person doing the work. I work remotely and schedule around your team's working hours.

Project

Riviera: a product I built end to end

Riviera for Renault owners

Riviera is an independent iOS companion app for Renault cars: vehicle status, range, service, costs and documents in one place, in 20 languages. I built it to practise what I advise on: analysing third-party APIs, turning needs into a coherent product, and designing for privacy from the first day. It has no servers of its own, no ads and no analytics.

  • iOS
  • 20 languages
  • Privacy-first
  • In beta on TestFlight

Riviera is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Renault. Renault is a trademark of Renault s.a.s.
